Meet the IFL Staff

We are honored to have several staff who help us!

Bob Whattoff lived in Brazil for six years. He and his wife, Debbie, like to have international students in their home for dinners. Bob works primarily with graduate students and visiting scholars. They've been doing this for over 20 years!

Eriko Ishitsuka was born in Japan, and grew up living in India for 8 years with her family. She became a Christian in high school in Japan. Eriko did her undergrad at the U of I in music education, and has stayed in Champaign-Urbana to be part of IFL since 2002.

Bonnie Ward has lived in Japan and South Africa. She has worked with IFL for 2 years as a volunteer and part-time staff. Bonnie and her husband, Craig, host the monthly dinner discussions in their home. They have four children.

Yasu Kamata was born in Japan, was raised in Japan and England, and has lived in the United States for the last four years. He will be with the team for the coming year and will be involved with all kinds of events. He currently lives at Sutton Place.
